As stupid as Mr. Gump is, his wisdom is deep.  All day I've been dealing with people, who aren't neccessarily stupid, being really, really stupid.  I mean, fantastically stupid.For example, at work I'll ask them to look for a specifically named light on their equipment.  They then give me all of the lights on the equipment.
